Tying Class Reminder – This Sunday
This Sunday, February 26th, we will be hosting the class Tying Musky Flies taught by our very own guide-extraordinaire Steve Nix. Steve will teach the big flies that catch big musky, just in time for the 1st annual Musky Fly Fishing World Championship. Steve will teach how to tie flies that will not only tempt the toothy critters but also hold them and keep from falling apart after just one fish. Tying Big Flies for Big Fish with Brad Bohen and Troy Basso
March 28th and 29th at Fly South
Don’t miss this once a year class on tying big flies for big fish being taught by Brad Bohen and Troy Basso. Brad is a world record holder, infamous musky fly-fishing guide, and owner of Musky Country Outfitters. Troy is a professional fly tier for Idylwilde fly company, fly fishing writer, and fly-fishing guide. Together they are joining forces to put on THE class on tying for not only musky but also any species of really big freshwater fish. The two have opposing tying styles and methods but a similar passion for fly-fishing. Two guides, professional tiers, and anglers join forces to bring you a class that may not come around for years. They will be covering tying the flies and selecting the rigging you need for big toothy fish of all types. Cost for the class is $125 and is limited to 6 people.
