Turneffe Flats Lodge sits right in the middle of arguably the best saltwater flats in the world and We’ve chosen a week in May that is almost a lock for getting a slam. May is a fantastic month in Belize, the temperatures have warmed up and the big 3 are all in and hungry and it’s right before their rainy season which starts in June. This week is the new moon week which means it’s going to be very dark at night and harder for them to find food, therefore they will be eating with greater voracity during the day.
